Hi, My name is Eli Williams.
I have been teaching since 2001, when I started teaching at a private school in Greece. The opportunity to help students reach their goals and engage was one that was so exciting to me and drives me to this day.
I still remember what it was like to be an 8th grader struggling in Latin class, hoping that my teacher would not call on me. Latin got easier and I later was a classics major at Princeton University, but I will always remember the feeling I had in the back of that classroom in 8th grade. It is something that I don't want my students to experience.
That experience shaped who I am as a Latin teacher. Latin is not always easy, but it can be enjoyable, and Latin instruction can be tailored to the way that best fits individual students. This is what I do and I love it.

In addition to teaching Latin, I have mentored new teachers, coached football and lacrosse, and taught classical history, English, and algebra.
I currently live in Concord, MA with my wife and three daughters.
